How many accidents can one go through?

How many accidents can one go through, OH MY?

The new year started with a bang. I reconnected with a long-lost friend. It was great because I love people, and when I must let someone go, it saddens me. However, many times they come back and create a deeper bond with the person. But that was not the most surprising thing that happened.

Car Accident, AGAIN!

On January 2, someone did something nice for me. She picked me up from water exercise and took me shopping. Needing to go to Walmart and Aldi, my friend offered to give me a ride. We finished up in Walmart and drove to Aldi. It was around 5 Ish. When my friend started moving through the intersection, we were T-boned. I could not believe I lived through the # nine-car accident. I am still fogging on the particulars of the crash.

I was, of course, the passenger in this car. The driver had gotten a green light, and we proceeded into the intersection. The car spun around in the middle of the intersection and then collided with another car waiting to turn right across the street.

Once the impact of the other car happened, I became conscious. Briefly losing consciousness off and on. Continually touching all my body parts and saying, “I’m alive! You’re alive!” The driver was thrown back in her seat and was in a lot of pain.

I called my son, and he advised us to call 911, but the driver was already on the phone with 911. There was a man who came to her side of the window and said, “I saw the whole thing. Is anyone injured?”

The driver told me she was in a lot of pain and that I was bleeding.

The seat belt sign on my neck and shoulders

Bruise under my upper arm

Bruise and mark to my right leg

Right flank, kidney injury!

Ride in the Ambulance!

When the paramedics came and got me out, they worried about whether or not they were going to be able to get me out of the car. I heard one of them say, “We need to try to get the door open. Do you think we will be able to get it to open?” Another lady’s voice piped in and said, “I don’t know, but let’s give it a try”. The door opened without any problem.

The airbag on the side of the window deployed, so I could not see the car that hit me. When they opened the door, that car was gone.

The pictures below show the destruction. The blue car, in which I was a passenger in and the black car that T-boned us. The white car in the picture below was the car that our car hit, which was sitting across the street.

When the ambulance arrived at the hospital, I kept repeating, “I’m alive in disbelief, while telling them how many accidents God has spared me through.

WOW, Number 9!

So, nine is the number of times I have been in vehicle crashes; it is not the number of times I have survived car collisions. When I was 13, I was struck by a car while exiting a trolley in Philly. I was paralyzed for two weeks and was in the hospital for the longest time ever in my life.

Now I need to deal with the repercussions of that accident. Having to have two hip replacements, getting ready for spinal neck and back surgery this spring. Additionally, I fell out of running cars three times when I was two years old.

These are just car accidents and incidents with cars, let alone numerous other miracles. It hit me the day after the car accident that maybe, just maybe, God wants me to write about my miraculous experiences next. I have already decided to write three more books this year, well, what’s another?

Miracles of God!

The Bible is full of God’s miracles, raising people from the dead, the Exodus, lepers, personal illnesses, and the most miraculous, the resurrection of Jesus. Paul, Job, and John, the writer of Revelation, lived a life of continual spiritual attacks from the enemy, so that God would miraculously step in and spare their lives.

When examining the concept of miracles, we see that God is constantly working miracles in everyone’s life. Many don’t recognize them and give praise to people, doctor’s or even themselves, when God is the one that we should give Glory.1 Corinthians 10:31” Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God”.  King James Version

All things, God has ultimate control!

Proverbs 19:21: “Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.”

Proverbs 16:9: “In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.”

Jeremiah 10:23: “Lord, I know that people’s lives are not their own; it is not for them to direct their steps”.

John 19:11: “Jesus answered, ‘You would have no power over me if it were not given to you from above.”

This is very hard for us to admit and surrender to God, but obedience to God’s word is surrendering all to the Lord. I found myself very much at peace and calm during the accident. My body did have physical signs of stress. I suffer from low blood pressure (BP), but my BP was severely high upon arriving at the hospital. It came down fast. I was in a state of peace and tranquility that I don’t remember ever having in accidents.

However, I kept repeating things and have been struggling with memory, concentration, and speaking difficulties at present.

I wonder how God wants me to use this latest miracle, and I believe it is to write another book. Even though my last book mentions some of my miracles, it is more of a testimonial. Never Forsaken God Delivers Me from Hopeless Situations. You can download the ADP from my website or buy the book on Amazon.com.

I have seen so many miracles in my life that it would constitute another full book. Therefore, I am going to work on trying to crank out another four books this year.
